The MH Recruitment Process
Over 95% of the candidates we place stay long-term. Our recruitment process incorporates formal psychology principles and a personal touch to introduce the right people into your service.
Step 1
Understand
We start with a detailed conversation about how your service runs, including everything from culture, organisational vision to leadership style. We discuss the role you need to fill in detail and understand your unique challenges as a Director.
Step 2
Formal Psychology Principles
Throughout the recruitment process, we’ll use formal psychology principles to vet candidates. This ensures we only select candidates who have the right experience, motivation and personality traits for your role.
Step 3
Leadership Rapport
An important part of our process is assessing the Employee-Director personality fit. We examine how the candidate’s personality profile aligns with your leadership style and unique psychology as a leader. This ensures minimal friction and maximum success with each of our placements.
Step 4
Introduce Top Candidates
During this step we introduce the shortlist of top candidates to your centre and familiarise them with your unique culture. By ensuring that candidates fully understand your requirements, culture, and leadership style BEFORE we place them, we prevent misunderstandings and dissatisfaction.
Step 5
Success Partnership
Once you have chosen a candidate and the placement is made, we’re not going anywhere! We keep in close contact throughout the entire probationary period. We follow up with the candidate – and with you – on their progress, and give you the option to replace the candidate if they aren’t an amazing fit.
